Rain Rain Go Away

The rainy season is upon us, and with it comes some unpredictable flows and afternoon conditions. The better weather has been in the mornings and the thunderstorms have been rolling in like clock work just about every afternoon, so plan accordingly. With the storms can also come water clarity issues if a big squall comes through. Make sure you have plenty of contrast colors for your lures and flies. Dirty water is not the end of world, but plan accordingly and adapt your color selections to the conditions at hand. Flows are still high so just about everything is still floatable, making it a great time to come fish summer conditions before flows start to drop in July and August. There is plenty of fun to be had, just make sure you bring a rain coat. Interested in fishing? Give us a call or book online.
