June Fishing Report

As we start to transition into the summer season, the fish are starting to move into the post spawn. River flows have been high for this time of the year due to all of the storm systems moving through the mountains. Right now just about everything is floatable, but the wading is going to stay on the sketchy side until we start seeing lower summer flows. The fish are starting to spread out from their spawn holes and follow the bait into their summer feeding zones. Some late spawners can still be found concentrated periodically in random pools. The high water has been a little detrimental to the top water action, however they will commit in the right situations. All in all, the fishing is starting to trend in the right direction and with some dryer weather on the way, it should continue to improve. Come on out and let us show you what it's all about!
